Red Russian Kale

Brassica oleracea – (60 days) This kale variety is highly ornamental and also nutritious. It flourishes long, deeply serrated, blue–green leaves with pink–red veins. Sweeter than other kale varieties, it prefers cool weather and should be planted in the fall or early spring. Certified Organic.

Planting instructions: Sow kale in late summer for a fall harvest or early spring for summer harvest. Sow seeds ½" deep, allowing 1’ between plants and 2’ between rows. Frequent watering; do not let soil dry out. Sun.
