Levisticum officinale – A hardy perennial herb, Lovage is a large, vigorous plant that reaches 36–48 inches high. A mainstay of medieval kitchen gardens, Lovage resembles celery both in appearance and taste. It adds a savory flavor to a wide range of dishes especially soups & salads. Certified Organic.

Planting instructions: Start indoors 6–8 weeks before planting out. Sow ¼ inch deep. Seeds will germinate in 10–20 days. Transplant after the danger of frost has passed. Moderate water. Full sun to partial shade.

Harvest information: Use plant through out the growing season. To collect the huge heads of seed, bag plant heads using a paper bag, allow them to dry on plants; remove and collect.
