Tyee Organic Spinach

SOLD OUT FOR 2010

Spinacea oleracea – (45 days) A semi–savory hybrid spinach with distinctive dark green leaves. A long standing type which resists bolting under high temperatures. Superior to other hybrids due to its high tolerance & resistance to common spinach diseases. These important features along with Tyee's upright plant growth make it ideal for the home grower. Certified Organic.

Planting instructions: Spinach thrives in cool weather, so plant as soon as the soil can be worked. For a fall crop, plant again in late August or early September. Plant ½–1" deep, spaced 6" apart. Moderate water. Partial shade to full sun.
